Alexander Anderfuhren was born in Bern, Switzerland in 1991. He studied photography at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) from 2012-2015, where he obtained a bachelor of Arts & Media with an emphasis on photography. During this time, he also participated in an exchange program at the City University of Hong Kong, School of Creative Media. Thereafter, he assisted different professional photographers, while also engaging in diverse independent projects. Since his bachelor graduation, Alex's work had increasingly shifted towards video-based projects for a few years. Next to his own projects he has gained experience in the commercial field of photography and video production working for a diverse range of clients. After a few years in the workplace he is currently completing his master degree at the Hochschule der Künste Bern in Contemporary Arts Practice. In addition to his visual work, he is also a part-time music producer, which allows for a wide set of skills in audio production as well. He resides in Bern, Switzerland, where he has a studio for the execution of both his visual and/or audio work projects.
